Jacek Yerka - (born in 1952 in Torun, Poland), a Polish artist, painter and a poster designer. In 1976 he graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at the University UMK in Torun. During his first years after graduation he was designing posters that were exhibited at the Biennale of Polish Posters in Katowice (Poland), the Biennale in Lahti (Finland) and in Warsaw (Poland). Since 1980 he devoted himself to the painting. He makes surrealistic compositions and fairy landscapes. In 1995 the artist received "World Fantasy Award".The publishing house "Morpheus International" published his album titled "The Fantastic Art of Jacek Yerka".

Jacek Yerka - Jacek Yerka (ur. 1952 w Toruniu), polski artysta, malarz, projektant plakatów. W 1976 ukończył Wydział Sztuk Pięknych Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu. W pierwszych latach po studiach projektował plakaty pokazywane m.in. na Biennale Plakatu Polskiego w Katowicach, biennale w Lahti oraz w Warszawie. Od 1980 poświęcił się malarstwu. Tworzy surrealistyczne kompozycje i baśniowe pejzaże. W 1995 artysta został laureatem nagrody "World Fantasy Award". Wydawnictwo "Morpheus Intenational" wydało album The Fantastic Art of Jacek Yerka.
